As you maybe contemplating doing a Silk session with me, I would like to let you in on a little secret. I myself do not like having my picture taken. But a little over a year ago I did a session myself. I figured no matter my weight hair color or what I look like to myself, I will never be this age again, and the longer I waited the more I would put it off. I decided to do it for myself to empower myself and to love myself. The upside to doing this was that it gave me a gift to give my husband. He had alway requested I do this and I had always refused and dug in my heels. When I gave him the gift he had no idea that I had done the session, so it was a complete surprise. He looked at it and I could tell how much he loved it and me. As tears welled in his eyes he told me just how much he loved the portrait of me, because it was of me. I love him so very much, but I did it for myself because I deserved to feel beautiful and powerful. BTW I jumped in with 2 feet, no diet no nothing. This is my story what is yours?
